the beauty with which so many people have chosen to depict angels is truly an act of heresy against the deities, themselves; angels are not meant to be beautiful. they’re meant to be sickening, grotesque, and inhuman–something that the human brain cannot comprehend in all of its divinity. angels are one-thousand wide eyes flickering with an unknown madness. they are black hearts & voids compressed into a single pinnacle in space. they are the ear-bursting screeches of thousands, if not millions, of souls toiling in anguish & agony.
angels are not beautiful.
angels are not beautiful.
angels are not beautiful.
they will never be beautiful–do not disrespect their inhumane essence by relegating it to humane beauty.
